Day 1

Eckankar is a new religious movement that focuses on spiritual exercises enabling practitioners to experience what its followers call "the Light and Sound of God."According to the Eckankar glossary, the term Eckankar means "Co-Worker with God".  It is likely drawn from the Sikh term, Ik Onkar. Since 1985 Eckankar is described as “The Religion of the Light and Sound of God”. Prior to 1985 Eckankar changed the descriptor following its name several times. Eckankar headquarters are in ChanhassenMinnesota (southwest of Minneapolis). At this site there are the Eckankar Temple, an outdoor chapel, an administrative building, and the ECK Spiritual Campus.

In Proverbs 16 these verses stands out to me...verses 1-5  We can make our own plans, but the Lord gives the right answer.People may be pure in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their motives. Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed. The Lord has made everything for his own purposes, even the wicked for a day of disaster. The Lord detests the proud; they will surely be punished. verses 16-18 How much better to get wisdom than gold, and good judgment than silver! The path of the virtuous leads away from evil;whoever follows that path is safe.Pride goes before destruction, and haughtiness before a fall.  verses 20 Those who listen to instruction will prosper; those who trust the Lord will be joyful.

Day 2

A druid was a member of the priestly and learned class in the ancient Celtic societies of Western EuropeBritainand Ireland. They were suppressed by the Roman government and disappeared from the written record by the second century AD. Druids combined the duties of priest, judge, scholar, and teacher. Little contemporary evidence for them exists, and thus little can be said of them with assurance, but they continued to feature prominently in later Irish mythliterature and law.The earliest record of the name druidae is reported from a lost work of the Greek doxographer Sotion of Alexandria (early second century BC), who was cited by Diogenes Laertius in the third century AD.The Celtic communities that Druids served were polytheistic. They also show signs of animism, in their reverence for various aspects of the natural world, such as the land, sea and sky,and their veneration of other aspects of nature, such as sacred trees and groves (the oak and hazel were particularly revered), tops of hills, streamslakesand plants such as the mistletoe.Fire was regarded as a symbol of several divinities and was associated with cleansing. Purported ritual killing and human sacrifice were aspects of druidic culture that shocked classical writers.Modern attempts at reconstructing, reinventing or reimagining the practices of the druids are called Neo-druidism.

In Probers 15 these verses that stands out to me .. verses 2-3 The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouth of the fool gushes folly. The eyes of the LORD are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good. verses 8-9 The LORD detests the sacrifice of the wicked, but the prayer of the upright pleases him.The LORD detests the way of the wicked but he loves those who pursue righteousness. verses 25-26 The LORD tears down the proud man's house  but he keeps the widow's boundaries intact. The LORD detests the thoughts of the wicked,  but those of the pure are pleasing to him. verse 33 The fear of the LORD teaches a man wisdom,  and humility comes before honor.

Day 1

The Doukhobors or Doukhabors , earlier Dukhobortsy  are a Christian group of Russian origin. The Doukhobors were one of the sects - later defined as a religious philosophy, ethnic group, social movement, or simply a 'way of life' - known generically as Spiritual Christianity. Starting no later than the 18th century, they rejected secular government, the Russian Orthodox priests, icons, all church ritual, the Bible as the supreme source of divine revelation and the divinity of Jesus. Their Pacifist beliefs and desire to avoid government interference in their life lead to an exodus of the majority of the group from the Russian Empire to Canada at the close of the 19th century. However, their interaction with the Canadian authorities was anything but peaceful.Assimilated to a various extent into the Canadian mainstream, the modern descendants of the first Canadian Doukhobors continue to live in south-eastern British Columbia, southern Alberta and Saskatchewan. Today, the estimated population of Doukhobors in North America is over 20,000 - 15,000 in Canada and about 5,000 in the USA.

In Proberbs 14 these verses that stands out to me ... Verse 2 Those who follow the right path fear the Lord; those who take the wrong path despise him  Verses 5-6 An honest witness does not lie; a false witness breathes lies.A mocker seeks wisdom and never finds it, but knowledge comes easily to those with understanding.  Verses 18-22 Simpletons are clothed with foolishness, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge. Evil people will bow before good people;the wicked will bow at the gates of the godly. The poor are despised even by their neighbors, while the rich have many “friends.”It is a sin to belittle one’s neighbor; blessed are those who help the poor.If you plan to do evil, you will be lost; if you plan to do good, you will receive unfailing love and faithfulness. Verses 26-27  Those who fear the Lord are secure; he will be a refuge for their children.Fear of the Lord is a life-giving fountain; it offers escape from the snares of death.

Day 2

The Dalai Lama  is the spiritual and political leader of the Tibetan people according to Tibetan Buddhism. Often referred to simply as "His Holiness" , or "His Holiness The Dalai Lama", Tibetans usually call the Dalai Lama by the epithets Gyalwa Rinpoche, meaning "Precious Victor", or Yishin Norbu, meaning "Wish-fulfilling Jewel." "Lama" (meaning "teacher") is a title given to many different ranks of Tibetan Buddhist clergy. The Lama is believed to be the current incarnation of a long line of Tulkus, or Buddhist Masters, who have become exempt from the wheel of death and rebirth. These ascended masters have chosen of their own free will to be reborn to this place in order to teach humanity.Between the 17th century and 1959, the Dalai Lama was the head of the Tibetan Government, administering a large portion of the country from the capital Lhasa, although the extent of the lineage's political authority and rulership over territory has been contested. Since 1959, the Dalai Lama has presided over the Central Tibetan Administration, which is based in Dharamshala, a small town in the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India, considering itself to be a government in exile. The Dalai Lama is often thought to be the head of the Gelug School, but this position officially belongs to the Ganden Tripa, which is a temporary position appointed by the Dalai Lama (who in practice exerts more influence)

In Proverbs 13 these verses stands out to me.... verses 5-6 The godly hate lies; the wicked cause shame and disgrace.Godliness guards the path of the blameless, but the evil are misled by sin. verses 20-22 Walk with the wise and become wise;associate with fools and get in trouble.Trouble chases sinners, while blessings reward the righteous.Good people leave an inheritance to their grandchildren, but the sinner’s wealth passes to the godly.

Day 1

Christianity: Its followers, known as Christians, believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God and the Messiah (Christ)prophesied in the Hebrew Bible (the part of scripture common to Christianity and Judaism). To Christians, Jesus Christ is ateacher, the model of a virtuous life, the revealer of God, as well as an incarnation of God, and most importantly the savior of humanity who suffered, died, and was resurrected to bring about salvation from sin.Christians maintain that Jesusascended into heaven, and most denominations teach that Jesus will return to judge the living and the dead, grantingeverlasting life to his followers. Christians call the message of Jesus Christ the Gospel ("good news") and hence label the written accounts of his ministry as gospels.Like Judaism and Islam, Christianity is classified as an Abrahamic religion (see also Judeo-Christian). Christianity began as a Jewish sect  in the eastern Mediterranean, quickly grew in size and influence over a few decades, and by the 4th century had become the dominant religion within the Roman Empire. During the Middle Ages, most of the remainder of Europe was Christianized, with Christians also being a (sometimes large) religious minority in the Middle East, North Africa, and parts of India. Following the Age of Discovery, through missionary work and colonization, Christianity spread to the Americas and the rest of the world.

In Proverbs 12 these verses that stands out to me ....verses 13-17 The wicked are trapped by their own words, but the godly escape such trouble.Wise words bring many benefits, and hard work brings rewards.Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others A fool is quick-tempered,but a wise person stays calm when insulted. An honest witness tells the truth; a false witness tells lies.  verses 18-22 Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing.Truthful words stand the test of time, but lies are soon exposed. Deceit fills hearts that are plotting evil; joy fills hearts that are planning peace! No harm comes to the godly, but the wicked have their fill of trouble. The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in those who tell the truth.

In Malachi 3: 8-10  "Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me. "But you ask, 'How do we rob you?' "In tithes and offerings.  You are under a curse—the whole nation of you—because you are robbing me.  Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. so if you dont tithes you will be curse  .... if u tithes he will over fill you with  blessing ...  so I did that on sunday than I went home  ..and I felt the blessing already .. I felt different like I cant explain it ... when ever I dont tithes  Enoch will push me because he knows that is bad   and he want me to do God's way..
